How are MRS assessments and symptom reports delivered to my practice?

Last updated: May 28, 2026

Amissa automatically delivers patient assessment results and symptom reports to your practice — so clinicians have the data they need before, during, and between appointments.

MRS (Menopause Rating Scale) assessments

Every time a patient completes an MRS assessment in the Amissa app, the results are automatically faxed to your practice's fax number on file.

By default, patients receive a reminder to retake the MRS assessment approximately every 30 days. This means you can expect to receive an updated MRS fax for each active patient about once a month — assuming the patient completes the assessment.

If you'd like to adjust the reminder frequency, contact support@amissa.com and we'll configure it for your practice.

Symptom reports

Symptom reports summarize the symptoms your patients log in the app — including manually logged entries and data synced from wearables (sleep, heart rate, steps, etc.).

Symptom reports are available in two ways:

  • On-demand PDF export: Log in to your Amissa dashboard, select a patient, and click the Export to PDF button in the top right corner. This generates a report you can save or print.

  • Automatic fax delivery: Symptom reports can be faxed to your practice on a schedule. Contact support if you'd like this set up.

What's included in each report?

  • MRS fax: Assessment scores, individual symptom severity ratings, and the date of completion.

  • Symptom report PDF: Visual charts showing how symptoms changed over time, a detailed breakdown of severity scores for each symptom, and assessment results across multiple dates — so you can track a patient's progress at a glance.

Viewing reports in the dashboard

You don't have to wait for a fax. Clinicians can view all patient data in real time by logging in to the Amissa provider dashboard. The dashboard shows the same data that appears in the faxed reports, including trends and MRS history.

Tips for using Amissa data in appointments

  • Review faxed MRS results or pull up the patient's dashboard view before their appointment.

  • Use the trend charts to discuss how symptoms have changed since the patient's last visit — patients often forget their initial symptoms by follow-up appointments.

  • If a patient hasn't taken a recent MRS assessment, you can remind them to complete one in the app before their next visit.
